Manager Wayne Rooney has made two changes to the side which drew 1-1 with Coventry City last weekend for this afternoon’s Sky Bet Championship clash against Blackburn Rovers (3pm kick-off).

The Rams are aiming to extend their unbeaten run to six games as they face Rovers at Pride Park Stadium.

Derby’s home has been a happy hunting ground so far this season as Rooney’s side are yet to taste defeat on home soil.

And he has reintroduced full back Craig Forsyth to the side after he has missed the last three games through illness. He replaces Lee Buchanan who has been named as a substitute for this afternoon’s game.

The only other change comes in attack as Louie Sibley replaces Festy Ebosele. Sibley, who scored on his professional debut against Blackburn Rovers back in March 2020, makes his first start since the narrow defeat against Sheffield United in September.

Derby County: Roos, Byrne, Forsyth, Shinnie, Jagielka, Jozwiak, Bird, Lawrence (C), Morrison, Sibley, Davies.

Substitutes: Marshall, Baldock, Kazim-Richards, Stearman, Buchanan, Watson, Ebosele.

Blackburn Rovers: Kaminski, Johnson, Rothwell, Gallagher, Dolan, Edun, Brereton Diaz, Travis, Lenihan (C), van Hecke, Buckley.
