Derby County’s Under-18s tasted their first defeat of the 2021/22 season in Premier League - North on Saturday afternoon.
Adam Robinson’s side were beaten 6-1 by Blackburn Rovers at Moor Farm Training Ground in their first home fixture of the campaign.
After defeating Middlesbrough 3-0 away from home last weekend, the Rams unable to start the season with back-to-back wins.
Jake Batty and Harry Leonard’s early goals put Derby on the back foot, but Dubem Eze reduced the deficit at the midway point of the half.
Derby were, however, hit with another double blow after the break as Jay Haddow and Kristi Montgomery put Blackburn in total control.
Evan Cunningham and George Chimel rounded off the scoring for the visitors late on for the visitors to consign the Rams to a heavy defeat.

Derby’s Under-18s return to action next Saturday with a trip north to take on Liverpool (12:30pm kick-off).
