Manager Wayne Rooney has made two changes to the side
which faced Blackburn Rovers on Friday for this evening’s Sky Bet Championship
clash against Preston North End (7pm kick-off).
Striker Colin Kazim-Richards, who is the club’s top goalscorer with seven goals this term, returns to the starting XI tonight after being named as a substitute against Rovers. He replaces Louie Sibley who moves down to the substitutes bench.
Jason Knight is also back in the starting line-up, making his first appearance since the defeat against Reading on Easter Monday. Polish winger Kamil Jozwiak misses out through a knock.
There is positive news from the treatment table as both George Edmundson and Martyn Waghorn are fit enough for the bench for tonight’s game after missing recent matches.
