Manager Phillip Cocu has made three changes to the side which was beaten 1-0 by Watford on Friday as the Rams face Huddersfield Town this evening at the John Smith's Stadium (7:45pm kick-off).
One change has been enforced as skipper Wayne Rooney must isolate until Thursday 29th October after unknowingly encountering an individual who tested positive for COVID-19 last week.
Forward Tom Lawrence returns to the starting XI for the first time since suffering a dislocated shoulder against Leeds United at the end of last season, after a brief outing off the bench against Watford last week.
Polish winger Kamil Jozwiak also returns to the starting squad after missing the game against the Hornets following his international duty with Poland.
Elsewhere, Andre Wisdom comes back in to the back-up in place of George Evans who misses out tonight.
Midfielder Duane Holmes is named as a substitute for this evening’s game, whilst there is also a return to bench for striker Martyn Waghorn who has yet to feature this season due to a calf injury. Colin Kazim-Richards could also make his debut from the bench tonight after signing as a free agent last week.
