It is time to show that we’re ‘Black and White Together’ for Derby County's 2020/21 campaign.
Derby’s new Umbro home kit was officially revealed back in July and it’s on sale now online at dcfcmegastore.co.uk and from the DCFCMegastore.
The DCFCMegastore has re-opened, with social distancing measures in place, with opening hours set as 10am-4pm from Tuesday-Saturday. Click & Collect options are available at dcfcmegastore.co.uk.
Again produced by Umbro to create a local accent, further reinforcing the bond between club, supporters and brand, the kit is inspired by previous Derby County kits - combining the simplicity of the home kits in the late 1960s and early 1970s with the subtle two-tone pinstripe worn during the 1993/94 and 1994/95 seasons.
Home Shirt: Umbro have taken Derby’s crisp iconic white to inspire the new season’s shirt. A knitted pique striped front adds depth and complements the solid white sleeves with black asymmetric tipping at the collar and cuffs. Features include a stylised white rib V-neck with black collar insert, raised rubber effect crest, stacked diamond, dropped back hem and official licensed label to the side seam.
Home Shorts: The black shorts have a white contrast tipping to the side panel detail, as well as a contrast raised rubber effect crest with internal drawcords and elasticated waistband.
Home Socks: The white home socks have a black contrast hoop detail, ‘DCFC’ wording on the back and stacked jacquard diamond, together with a cotton footbed and instep cool zone technology.
The front of the Rams’ shirts will again feature 32Red, who enter the third season of their agreement as Derby’s principal shirt sponsor with the ‘Play Responsibly’ message that supporters will have previously seen when the Rams played other 32Red sponsored teams during the current campaign.
Dave Biggar, Derby County Chief Commercial Officer, said: “It’s a challenge when deciding how to improve the home kit whilst still retaining colours synonymous with the club, but Umbro have delved back in time to inspire a modern day design that we think will again prove very popular with supporters.”
