Following the EFL announcement that the 2019/20 Sky Bet Championship Season will be resumed behind closed doors with a provisional restart date of Saturday 20th June 2020, Derby County can now confirm its refund and exchange policy to supporters.
It is well documented that EFL clubs rely heavily on non-broadcast revenue, particularly sponsorship, hospitality and tickets. And whilst Derby County has temporarily reduced some services, furloughed a number of staff, and implemented salary deferrals for first team players, coaching staff and senior management, the COVID-19 pandemic has, as is unfortunately the case for many businesses at this time, impacted short-term cash flow.
Nevertheless, following the EFL announcement that the 2019/20 Season will be resumed behind closed doors and broadcast by a combination of EFL broadcast partners and RamsTV - with specific details to follow - albeit with no decision yet on the start date or advisory regarding potential social distancing requirements for the 2020/21 Season, the club is offering the following for supporters unable to use their ticket, membership and/or parking permit for the remaining matches.

The club cannot adequately express how appreciative it is for supporters’ patience, understanding and cooperation whilst the FA, EFL and PFA, working in close cooperation with UK Government officials, considered the best course of action for the professional game. However, the club again asks for supporters’ patience and understanding whilst processing the above which in the case of refunds could be several months.
Finally, the club would also like to take this opportunity to advise supporters that the Season Ticket Renewal deadline will again be extended (from 30th June to 31st July), and to reassure supporters that further updates on the 2020/21 Season will be communicated when appropriate.
