Derby County launched its 2020/21 Season Ticket campaign on Saturday 29th February 2020.
As with any season ticket campaign, the planning started pretty much as the current season kicked off - and this one was no different.
After months of conversations, brainstorms and meetings, MAKE THE LEAP was finally set in stone and now we want to share the concept behind it with you, the supporters.
Derby County was established in 1884, a leap year, and 136 years later Leap Year’s Day was deemed the ideal time to launch the 2020/21 Season Ticket campaign.
The accompanying video, featuring a genuine family of Derby County supporters, John, Andrew and William Bailey of the Official Supporters Club (Heanor branch), centres around a Rams supporter enjoying memorable occasions from yesteryear through to today.
It leaps backwards and forwards in time showing the supporter watching the Rams during other leap years in the club’s history, from 1972, 1996 and the current day.
