After the success of last season’s 'Kit 4 Kids' Campaign, Derby County have once again teamed up with Eden Tyres & Servicing for the second year in a row to run a fantastic incentive for local football teams.
'Kit 4 Kids' gives local junior football teams, aged from Under-7s to Under-12s in Derbyshire, the opportunity to be nominated to win a brand-new football kit courtesy of the Rams' proud partner Eden Tyres & Servicing.
There might be various reasons to nominate a team.
Last year, Kilburn Youth Spartans were named as the winners of the campaign due to the dedication of their Head Coach Mark Whittaker and how he has developed the club in such a short period of time.
Whittaker said: “For the club itself, it put us on the map due to the media exposure and the kit went down a dream.
"The initiative is fantastic, and I wish whoever has applied for this season’s competition all the best as it’s a fantastic prize to win.”
Matt Eden, Managing Director of Eden Tyres & Servicing, said: “After the success of last year’s campaign, we’re really excited to be joining Derby County yet again for another 'Kit 4 Kids' project.
"Having worked within our local communities to support grassroots junior football for over a decade, we have seen first-hand the positive impact a professional kit has on these youngsters.
"Teaming up with the club to launch 'Kit 4 Kids' in 2020 is a great opportunity for us to help another young team in need of a brand-new kit."
The winning team will be invited to Pride Park Stadium for a tour along with the unveiling of their brand-new kit sponsored and provided by Eden Tyres & Servicing.
