The ‘Ramtiques Roadshow’ is making its return to Pride Park Stadium this weekend to coincide with Derby County Ladies’ clash with Nottingham Forest Women.

After a successful inaugural game in September 2018, which saw the Ewe Rams win 1-0 against East Midlands rivals Nottingham Forest Women in front of a record crowd of over 2,000 supporters, Pride Park will once again host a Derby County Ladies fixture.

The Rams and the Reds will once again go head-to-head at Pride Park on Sunday 8th September 2019 (2pm kick-off).

The ‘Ramtiques Roadshow’ will be staged in the Toyota Suite at Pride Park Stadium between 12pm-2pm on Sunday, with entry into the event FREE for all supporters to take a trip down memory lane before seeing the Ewe Rams in action.

The event will see many historic items from the club’s history on display, including old photographs, pennants, trophies and documents charting some incredible moments and events.

Here’s a flavour of the items that will be on show:

The Bass Charity Vase: Derby County are the current holders after defeating Burton Albion at the Pirelli Stadium in July, making it the eighteenth time the club has won the trophy since its inception in 1890. It is reputed to be one of the most valuable trophies in the UK. It has not been at Pride Park since 2014 and is rarely seen in public after the Final presentations have taken place, so it’s a rare opportunity to see the Bass Vase in person and talk to one of the Trustees of the Bass Vase organisation.

Alan Hinton Match Worn Shirt: Purchased at an auction earlier this year for £2,700, without commission), this shirt was worn half a dozen times at the beginning of the 1971/72 First Division title-winning season and combines aspects of the previous year’s shirt with the new, and existing, logo.

The Baseball Ground Memories: As the 125th anniversary of Derby’s permanent move to the much-loved former home closes in there will be maps, pictures, and other signage from the stadium as well as the plans for what the 1995 re-modelled stadium would have looked like - and also the potential stadium with a 76,000 capacity at Moorways would have looked like in 1946.

1968-69 - 50 Years On: Artefacts from the 1968/69 season, when Derby were crowned Division Two champions under Brian Clough, will be on display with items such as posters, pennants and magazines available to view.

Trophies: Some of the lesser known trophies from Derby County’s history that have never been seen before will be on display, but you’ll have to head down to the event to see which ones will be on show!

Documents: Various Documents covering the Brian Clough years, the Rams’ European matches and the Arthur Cox scouting file for matches played during the club’s centenary season, in 1984/85, will be on display to give supporters a real insight into some historic Rams moments.
