As the 2019/20 season approaches quickly, here's some information regarding the A52 Wyvern Transport Improvement Scheme works, that could impact on your journey to and from the match.
Diversion route for Derby County matches
Pedestrians
Following the demolition of the Meadow Lane footbridge, all fans who are crossing the A52 from the Chaddesden area, will need to use the Highfield Lane footbridge.Please allow extra time for your journey at peak times.
Drivers
If you are travelling on the westbound carriageway, please be aware that the on and off slip roads are closed at the Wyvern.
From Monday 3 June 2019, the Wyvern/A52 - Westbound slip roads will be closed. Vehicles travelling to and from Wyvern/Pride Park will need to follow the signed diversion routes. Find out more by clicking here.
Wyvern Way off slip from A52 westbound (towards Derby city centre) – closed from 3 June 2019 for 13 weeks
Vehicles travelling to Pride Park/Wyvern from the A52 Westbound should continue on the A52 towards Pentagon Island, taking the second exit onto Eastgate and Holmes Bridge (A601), turning left at the traffic lights and then keeping right onto Station Approach and Pride Parkway (A6), turning left at the second roundabout to Derwent Parade.
Alternatively, drivers can take the eastbound carriageway (towards Nottingham) and exit at the Wyvern off-slip.
Wyvern Way on slip to A52 westbound (towards Derby city centre) – closed from 3 June 2019 for 13 months
Vehicles travelling from Wyvern/Pride Park will be diverted along Derwent Parade to Pride Parkway (A6), continuing along Station Approach to Cock Pitt, turning right at the traffic lights to Holmes Bridge (A601) around Darwin Place to Eastgate and Pentagon Island.
