Derby County will have a positive mindset heading into the Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Semi-Final Second Leg against Leeds United, according to midfielder Bradley Johnson.
The Rams trail going into the return leg at Elland Road on Wednesday night following Saturday’s 1-0 defeat.
Kemar Roofe scored the only goal early in the second half of the First Leg, however, the Rams know a victory against Marcelo Bielsa’s men on Wednesday will either force extra time or Derby’s passage through to the Play-Off Final.
Frank Lampard’s side have found themselves in many pressured situations already this season, most notably in the recent fixtures against Bristol City and West Bromwich Albion.
On both occasions, the Rams stepped up and got the victory they needed and Johnson believes there is much to be positive about heading into the Second Leg.
“We like to make it entertaining,” he told RamsTV. “I’m sure it isn’t always easy for the fans and is nail-biting at times.
“We have been away from home [at Bristol City], when before that our away record wasn’t great, and when the pressure was on us, we performed and get the result.
“We take a lot of positives from what we have done away from home. It is anyone’s game and on the day anything can happen.
“We have just got to go there with a positive mindset and knowing that we are good enough to beat them at their place.”
