Derby County Community Trust’s expansion of their men’s mental health programme in Derby, Team Talk, as the result of significant investment from 32Red, has been marked with a once in a lifetime experience for the project’s current participants.
Team Talk uses the club as a mechanism to engage with men about their mental health and has been running in pilot phase since last summer.
Backing from 32Red to increase provision across Derby to include four new venues was celebrated with a visit to the Monday night session from Derby County manager Frank Lampard.
After attending and taking part in the session and speaking to the males involved first hand, participants were then invited to Derby County’s training ground to meet the rest of the team.
