The League Managers Association has awarded Derby County with their latest 'LG Performance of the Week Award'.
Derby secured their place in the Sky Bet Championship’s top six with a 3-1 home victory over West Bromwich Albion last Sunday on the final day of the regular league campaign.
Martyn Waghorn, Mason Bennett and Harry Wilson got the goals as Frank Lampard’s side confirmed a play-off spot.
The LMA’s four-man panel consists of LMA Chairman Howard Wilkinson, Sir Alex Ferguson, Joe Royle and Dave Bassett.
The experienced and highly distinguished panel has managed a combined total of over 5,500 competitive matches in professional football.
Lampard will receive a celebratory bottle of champagne, courtesy of Tanners Wines, and the LG Performance of the Week trophy to commemorate the result.
