Youngster Jayden Bogle has admitted Monday’s Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Final against Aston Villa will be a tough encounter but is hoping the spirit inside the Derby County camp will get them over the line.

The Rams have faced some adversities throughout the season; however, those have made the squad stronger and determined.

The scenes which followed the 4-3 aggregate victory against Leeds United in the Play-Off Semi Finals have further cemented the strong unity inside the dressing room.

One game now lies between the Rams and the Premier League but it’s one that Bogle is relishing.

“We don't mind being the underdogs,” he told RamsTV.

“We have to go into the game with the same fight and the same desire that we did against Leeds and hopefully, with the quality that we have got, we can give yourselves a great chance of getting a good result.

“They have got lots of good players. They have got good strikers who can score, they can defend well, but in the Championship, anyone can beat anyone and with the desire and fight we have got in the team and the spirit, we can do something special.

“It is just another game of football. It is a massive occasion for me and massive for the club, but I don’t think about that too much.

“It is in my head but I don’t put too much pressure on myself because that’s where things can start to go the wrong way. I just try to relax. The wait is more frustrating because you just want to get out there and play.

“That is what I have enjoyed doing from such a young age. Playing at Wembley in front of 90,000 people will be something to remember.”

Of those 90,000 supporters set to be at Wembley on Monday, 38,000 will be supporting the Rams.

There is a strong unity between the players and the fans, which has been evident at fixtures this season, and Bogle paid tribute to them ahead of the game.

“They have been a credit all season, home and away,” he said. “They stuck by us when things weren’t going so well, when things have gone well they have been loud and supported us.

“They deserve it as well, they deserve the trip to Wembley. Hopefully it is a nice day and we can get a good result and they can enjoy it just as much as we will.”
