Central defender Fikayo Tomori was the big winner at Derby County’s 2018/19 End of the Season Awards night on Tuesday, sponsored by McAndrew Utilities.
The on-loan Chelsea star claimed the Jack Stamps Player of the Season award, voted for by Derby’s supporters, after an impressive season at the heart of the Rams’ backline.
The 21-year-old England Under-21 international has made 49 appearances in all competitions so far this season.
His central defensive partner Richard Keogh, who has been an ever-present for the Rams this season, was voted the Player’s Player of the Season by his peers.
Between them, they have helped keep 13 clean sheets in all competitions in a season which has seen the Rams challenge for the Sky Bet Championship play-off places.
It has been a progressive season for full-back Jayden Bogle, who was named the Sammy Crooks Young Player of the Season. The 18-year-old was handed his debut by manager Frank Lampard in August and has gone on to make the most assists for the Rams so far this term with seven.
Academy graduate Mason Bennett won the club’s Goal of the Season for his acrobatic effort against Wigan Athletic in March, whilst Harry Wilson picked up the Highest Goalscorer award with 16 goals so far this season.
Head of Safety & Operations Nigel Wood claimed the Brian Clough Award for his continued excellent services to the club over the past 12 months.
