Derby County are set to travel to Brentford for their first away game since the beginning of March following four consecutive fixtures at Pride Park Stadium.


Frank Lampard’s side will be looking to build on a stunning 6-1 victory over Rotherham United last weekend when they take on the Bees at Griffin Park, kick-off: 3pm. Here, dcfc.co.uk has gathered all the information you will need ahead of the clash with Thomas Frank’s side.

TEAM NEWS…

There are no fresh injury concerns for Lampard after the return of Mason Mount, Mason Bennett, Tom Lawrence and Craig Bryson to the matchday squad against Rotherham.


Both Mount and Lawrence started in the 6-1 victory while Bennett came off the bench and Bryson was an unused substitute.

WHAT THE BOSS HAD TO SAY…

Speaking to RamsTV, Lampard said: "Everyone is in it together. There must be a complete focus as a group with the month that we have ahead.

“The games will come thick and fast from Saturday onwards and it’s pivotal. It’s the business end now and we’ve given ourselves a chance, so we have to take these games with a good mindset and the physical side is going to be huge for us.”

Brentford got off the mark after just 44 seconds at Pride Park Stadium when Henrik Dalsgaard headed in Said Benrahma’s corner. However, three quickfire first-half goals from the home side handed Derby all three points.

Harry Wilson slotted in following a quick counter-attack in the 14th minute to level the score.

WHO’S THE MAN IN THE MIDDLE…

John Brooks will be the man in the middle at Griffin Park on Saturday afternoon. He has refereed 34 games this season producing 128 yellow cards and five red.


Brooks has officiated two fixtures involving the Rams this season, the league victory over Hull City at KCOM Stadium where he awarded the Rams a penalty which was converted by Martyn Waghorn, as well as Aston Villa’s trip to Pride Park Stadium.

Brooks will be assisted by Philip Dermott and Darren Blunden on the lines, whilst Alan Young has been appointed as the fourth official.
