Derby County travel to St. Andrew’s to face Birmingham City on Good Friday, kick-off: 3pm.
Frank Lampard’s side will be looking to build on their 4-0 victory over Bolton Wanderers last time out when they take on the Blues and here, dcfc.co.uk has gathered all the information you will need ahead of the clash with Garry Monk’s side.
TEAM NEWS…
Lampard told RamsTV ahead of the clash that Scott Malone has joined in training again after sustaining a rib injury against Brentford, however the game against the Birmingham may come too soon for the left-back.
Duane Holmes is also set to miss the match with a quadricep injury that kept him out of the Bolton victory.
WHAT THE BOSS HAD TO SAY…
Speaking to RamsTV, Lampard said: “We have not put that run of wins together but if we are able to then what perfect time it would be.
“We are showing signs of it. Blackburn was a bit of a surprise with the way that we have been playing recently so it was important against Bolton that we got back to a high level of performance and record a good win. We must be consistent with our performances now.”
He added: “Individual performances have been good, team performance has been good but Birmingham away will be a different game completely to the last two home games.
“They are a good team, a strong team, and would have been comfortably above mid-table without the points deduction.
“They are physical, aggressive, have good players and a good manager, it’s a hostile crowd so there are loads of things that add into the mix. It’s a different challenge for us so we will have to be ready for that.”

Derby were allocated 3,000 tickets for the game, however, they have now all been snapped up and Frank Lampard’s side will be supported on by a sell-out away section.

THE LAST MEETING…
Derby County 3-1 Birmingham City
Saturday 3rd November 2018
Two goals in three minutes sparked a second-half comeback for Derby County after Lukas Jutkiewicz put Birmingham City ahead in the first-half from Che Adams’ cross.
Substitute Mason Bennett turned in Craig Forsyth’s cross first to draw level and reward the Rams’ bright start to the half. Three minutes later, Harry Wilson struck a free-kick effort that deflected off Jutkiewicz into the net.
Jack Marriott secured the victory with his low effort through the legs of Lee Camp for the Rams to move within two points of the Championship top-spot.
WHO’S THE MAN IN THE MIDDLE…
Simon Hooper will be the man in the middle at St. Andrew’s on Good Friday. Hooper has officiated 26 matches this season, producing 77 yellow cards and three straight red cards.
He was the referee for the Rams’ 1-1 draw with Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium in October.
