Darren Wassall’s side head into their final group game of this season’s Premier League Cup knowing that qualification for the knockout stages has already been secured following a 2-1 win against Aston Villa earlier this month.
A win could see Derby’s Under-23s head into the last sixteen of the competition as group winners, should Villa lose their remaining group game against Plymouth Argyle on Monday night.
