Derby County will return their attention to the FA Cup for their Fifth Round clash with Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday at the Amex Stadium, kick-off: 12.30pm.


Frank Lampard’s side will look to book a place in the quarter-final and move to seven games unbeaten in all competitions and here, dcfc.co.uk has gathered all the information you will need ahead of the meeting with Chris Hughton’s side.

Jack Marriott will be available for selection after missing the last four games.


The game will come too soon for Scott Carson and new signing Efe Ambrose will not be ready for inclusion.

WHAT THE BOSS HAD TO SAY…

Speaking to RamsTV, Lampard said: "We are up for a very important game against Premier League opposition in the FA Cup with an opportunity to get the Quarter Final.

"We have to appreciate the situation we are in. It’s a big situation and we have to give it everything.”

“I know Brighton are a strong team who are very worthy members of the Premier League.

“They showed that last year and they were competitive in it. They have a very good manager and have very good players so I’m not too concerned on recent form but I will analyse them as a Premier League team and it will be a tough challenge for us.”

HOW TO SECURE YOUR SEAT…

Derby sold out their initial allocation of 1,723 tickets last week and have been given a further 1,380 seats, making the overall allocation 3,103.


There is a £5 increase across all bands for supporters wishing to buy tickets on the day of the game, compared to when purchasing in advance. Tickets will be on sale from 9am at the Ticket Office located aside to Seagulls Superstore in the North Stand.

Both cash and card payments are accepted.

TRAVEL INFORMATION…

Trains: Southern Rail will be operating an enhanced service for this match, however please note that there will be a bus replacement service operating between Three Bridges and both Lewes and Brighton respectively. All supporters are advised to check with Southern’s website prior to travelling.

The Seagulls picked up all three points to draw level on points with Newcastle as what would become their promotion season drew to a close.

Anthony Knockaert fired Brighton to an early lead with a low 20-yard effort into the corner and Sam Baldock slotted in just before the break.

Matej Vydra had an effort rattle off the post for the Rams before Glenn Murray bundled in from Knockaert’s cross.

The defeat saw the Rams remain 10th in the Sky Bet Championship.

WHO’S THE MAN IN THE MIDDLE…

David Coote will be the man in the middle at the Amex Stadium on Saturday afternoon. He has officiated 21 fixtures so far this season producing 76 yellow cards and four red.


Coote is yet to referee a match involving the Rams this season.

Coote will be assisted by Dan Cook and Neil Davies on the lines, whilst Roger East has been appointed as the fourth official.
