Manager Frank Lampard has made three changes to the side which was beaten 3-2 against Chelsea on Stamford Bridge against Chelsea, as Curtis Davies returns to the starting 11 for the first time since the opening game of the season against Reading.
The central defender will captain the side alongside Richard Keogh, with Fikayo Tomori dropping to the substitutes bench.
Duane Holmes will make his home debut this afternoon as he starts for the first time in a Derby County shirt. He replaces Mason Mount who misses the game with an ankle injury.
Craig Forsyth is preferred at left back in place of Scott Malone against Birmingham City this afternoon.
