Derby County are on the road for a second time this week as they travel to the Bet365 Stadium to face Stoke City on Wednesday 28th November, kick-off: 8pm.

Frank Lampard’s side enjoyed an impressive period following the last international break, picking up three wins and a draw in five league games, and they continued their good form on Saturday.

After falling behind early in the game, goals from Harry Wilson and Jack Marriott turned the game on its head as the Rams secured a valuable three points on the road.

Here, dcfc.co.uk has gathered all you need to know ahead of the clash.

TEAM NEWS…

George Evans featured for the Under-23s on Monday night so isn’t expected to return for Wednesday’s game against the Potters but could feature on Saturday against Swansea City.

Jayden Bogle is hopeful of a return after being ruled out of Saturday’s game through illness.

Craig Forsyth, Mason Bennett, Joe Ledley and Marcus Olsson will all be out of action on Wednesday.

WHAT THE BOSS HAD TO SAY…

Speaking to RamsTV, Lampard said: “We will focus on the game as what it is which is a team that are strong in the league. They are not where they want to be in terms of the individuals and players.

“They have a lot of fresh Premier League players from last season and they’ve brought in some big players in the summer so I know we are going to a place that has the manager who was here last season and that is always going to bring an extra edge to it.

“We must focus away from that but we will appreciate the big contingent of away fans like we did at Sheffield Wednesday because it really helps.”

HOW TO SECURE YOUR SEAT…

Tickets for the trip to the Bet365 Stadium have sold out. Rams supporters snapped up their 3,001 tickets for the game and no further tickets have been allocated.
