Derby County's Louie Sibley has been nominated for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award for September.
The 17-year-old is in contention following his impressive recent form for Darren Wassall's Under-23s side, which has followed on from a strong end the the 2017/18 campaign for the youngster.
His techincal quality and physicality in midfield has drawn praise over recent months, and he caught the eye enough to earn involvement with Frank Lampard's first team during pre-season, coming on as a substitute in the 1-0 win against Coventry City at Nuneaton Borough's Liberty Way back in July.
Sibley helped the Under-23s to a 1-0 victory against Everton on their debut at Loughborough University Stadium, and he also played a starring role during the 1-1 draw with Paris Saint-Germain in the Premier League International Cup.

At 17, Sibley is the youngest player to be nominated, and the winner will be announced next Friday (12th October).
