Derby County will look to build on their impressive home form when they take on Norwich City at Pride Park Stadium.
Frank Lampard’s side will be aiming to bounce back quickly following a defeat to Bolton Wanderers at the weekend when they face the Canaries and here, dcfc.co.uk has gathered all the information you need ahead of the game.
TEAM NEWS…
Curtis Davies returned to action following a hamstring injury, playing 70 minutes to help the Under-23s to victory over Brighton and Hove Albion on Monday night. The experienced centre-back gained valuable minutes in his bid to get back to fitness after being sidelined for the past two months.
Also moving in the right direction is George Evans who is back training following a knee injury however he won’t be ready for match action yet.
WHAT THE BOSS HAD TO SAY…
Speaking to RamsTV, Frank Lampard said: “They are in great form. Jumping up the table will happen with winning games and they will come to Pride Park confident, like Brentford did so it’s up to us.
“I go back to the thought that if we are at it and the way that we are playing at home, if we bring that to the table, bring the energy and quality to our game then we will back ourselves, but we have a huge test.
“They are an in-form team, they have good players and a good manager. They try and play good football, so it should bring an entertaining game.”
He added: “We had loads of plus points from Brentford and Manchester United but we need to get back to that.
“If we play the way we have been playing then we will be fine. We just want to knock out those moments of inconsistency because in the Championship you get punished.”
