Derby County will stick with the same starting XI as the final pre-season game against Wolverhampton Wanderers when they open their 2018/19 Sky Bet Championship campaign against Reading.
Following a week of final pre-season preparations, Frank Lampard’s men have remained fit following their last pre-season test at Pride Park Stadium.
Curtis Davies has been given the captain's armband, while new loan signings Mason Mount and Harry Wilson will start in their first competitive game for the Rams.
The only changes come on the bench as Frank Lampard reduced his squad down to the matchday 18 with youngsters Jayden Bogle and Luke Thomas making the cut.
New signing from the Royals, George Evans, will not face his former club after arriving at Derby earlier this week. Jack Marriott will also wait to make his debut for the club as the pair continue to settle.
Tom Huddlestone is struggling with a groin problem and hasn’t made the trip to the Madejski Stadium. Marcus Olsson and Ikechi Anya have also stayed behind as they continue to recover from injuries.
