Gary Rowett has made five changes to his starting line-up for today’s early Sky Bet Championship kick-off with Preston North End (12:45pm).
Alex Pearce makes his first league start of the season, replacing Richard Keogh who drops to the substitutes bench.
Curtis Davies will wear the captain’s armband at Deepdale.

The trio replace George Thorne, Bradley Johnson and Cameron Jerome – with the former two missing out and the latter being named amongst the substitutes.
