Jeremy Simpson will be the man in the middle when Derby County take on Norwich City at Pride Park Stadium on Saturday, kick-off: 3pm.
Simpson has officiated 29 games so far this term, mainly in the Sky Bet Championship. from which he has produced 119 yellow and five red cards.
This will be the first time that he has taken charge of a match involving Derby this campaign, with his last being the Rams’ 4-2 win over Fulham back in April 2017, in which David Nugent scored a hat-trick.
In total, this weekend’s referee has been in the man in the middle for four Derby fixtures – three of which have been won, whilst the other was a draw.
Simpson will be assisted by Adam Matthews and Shaun Hudson on the lines, whilst Matthew Donohue has been appointed as the fourth official.
