Tony Harrington has been appointed to take charge of Derby County’s Sky Bet Championship Boxing Day clash with Hull City, kick-off: 3pm.

Harrington has officiated 21 games so far this term across the EFL, from which he has produced 73 yellow and three red cards.

This will be the first time that he has officiated a Rams game this season – his last game back in October 2016 when he was the man in the middle for Derby’s 1-0 victory over arch-rivals Leeds United.

Notably, he was the man in the middle when the Rams defeated Hull 4-0 at Pride Park Stadium back in April 2016.

In total, Harrington has taken charge of six matches involving Derby ahead of the weekend, of which four games have been won, one drawn, whilst defeat has been tasted only once.

Harrington will be assisted by Matt Foley and Akil Howson on the lines, whilst Darren Drysdale has been appointed as the fourth official.
