Gary Rowett has named the same starting XI that began the 2-0 win over Queens Park Rangers in midweek for today’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Middlesbrough, kick-off: 3pm.
The only change in fact comes on the substitutes bench as Marcus Olsson comes back into the matchday fold for the first time since the 1-1 draw with Birmingham City in September.
The 29-year-old Swedish left back replaces Luke Thomas, who made his first team debut on Tuesday night.
Sticking with the same side does mean that David Nugent will lock horns with his former club for the first time since leaving Teesside to join the Rams in January.
That said, former Derby right back Cyrus Christie has been named in the Middlesbrough starting line-up at the Riverside Stadium.
Middlesbrough: Randolph, Fabio, Ayala, Gibson (C), Clayton, Assombalonga, Braithwaite, Downing, Johnson, Christie, Forshaw
Substitutes: Konstantopoulos, Friend, Leadbitter, Fry, Traore, Bamford, Fletcher
Derby County: Carson, Baird, Keogh (C), Davies, Forsyth; Huddlestone, Ledley; Weimann, Vydra, Lawrence; Nugent
Substitutes: Mitchell, Russell, Martin, Wisdom, Pearce, Olsson, Thorne
