On Owen’s appointment, John Vicars, the club’s chief operating officer and chief executive of RamsTV, said: “I am absolutely delighted Owen has agreed to join us. Not only is this a fantastic appointment for RamsTV it is also a statement as to how far the channel has grown and where we intend to take it.

“Owen is hugely respected for his professionalism and integrity and will bring a new dimension to our digital coverage this season and I’m sure he will become the face of the channel for many years to come.
