Derby County is now in a position to confirm details of the ticketing arrangements for the re-arranged Carabao Cup First Round tie at Grimsby Town.
The match was abandoned on Tuesday evening after just 19 minutes due to a waterlogged pitch, following heavy rain at Blundell Park.
It was confirmed yesterday that the game has been re-arranged for Tuesday 22nd August 2017, kick-off 7:45pm.
Following dialogue with Grimsby, the below details have been confirmed:
* Tickets dated for Tuesday 8th August 2017 are no longer valid for the rearranged fixture.
* All tickets dated 8th August 2017 will be reissued with a new BLUE ticket for the identical seat as originally purchased. The Derby County Ticket Office will dispatch the replacement tickets via post. Supporters that purchased as a group transaction will have their tickets dispatched to the original transaction lead customer.
* Supporters that cannot make the re-arranged fixture date can apply for a refund through Derby County Ticket Office, but must return both the original and new ticket (BLUE and RED).
Any Rams fans that purchased tickets via cash on arrival at Blundell Park are advised to contact the Ticket Office at Pride Park Stadium.
Derby County’s Executive Chairman Mel Morris is, in addition, providing free travel on the Roadrider coaches for anyone that used the service for the abandoned tie.
Any supporters that travelled to the game by another method of transport will be entitled to a £10 voucher to spend in the kiosks on a home matchday at Pride Park Stadium by 24th September 2017.
The Roadrider and food vouchers will be sent to supporters along with their new match tickets. If requesting a refund, supporters must also return their Roadrider ticket in addition their match ticket.
Anyone that didn’t purchase a ticket for the original tie but wish to do so for the re-arranged date can do so from the Derby County Ticket Office from Monday 14th August.
