Entries for Ramathon 2017 are still open – and Derby County fans can get involved in this year’s event.
The 2017 event will take place on Sunday 4th June and, returning to the city of Derby for a fourth year, the Ramathon – now with a world record to its name – will again be based at Derby County’s iconic Pride Park Stadium.
At 2016’s Ramathon, Lindsy James set a new world record as fastest female to complete a half marathon pushing a baby in a pram. For this year, the Ramathon is aiming to smash new records all across the event with higher fundraising totals, faster personal bests and more live entertainment around the course!
Taking in the bustle of the city centre as well as the scenic grounds of Elvaston Castle Country Park, Ramathon is one of the flattest half marathon courses in the country, providing runners with the potential to achieve a personal best.
With a team run option, Mini Ramathon fun run, live entertainment and thousands of spectators lining the course on race day, Ramathon 2017 will be a day to remember.
