Derby County has linked up with G2A on a one-year partnership agreement.

The relationship will see G2A take up preferred partner status with the Rams and they will integrate their gaming background and various products as part of the partnership, by supporting and taking part in fan events as well as showcasing their brand with stadium advertising.

G2A is a gaming and financial technology company, which houses the world’s fastest growing digital gaming marketplace G2A.COM.

Aside from the marketplace, G2A has many other products in its offering, including: G2A PAY, a fast and convenient payment gateway with over 200 different payment methods available, G2A 3D and 3D Plus, a 3D printing platform and marketplace for both 3D designers and fans, and G2A Dev Studio, G2A’s own in-house video game development studio specializing in virtual reality.

Additionally, G2A is very involved and dedicated to the eSports scene, working with over 70 eSports teams in more than 100 eSports and gaming events.

Derby County’s Chief Operating Officer John Vicars said: “We’re excited to be joining forces with G2A and looking forward to working alongside them as a preferred partner. I am sure our fans will enjoy their great offers and activations with our players over the course of the next year.”

Stephen Hart, Senior Business Development Manager at G2A, is enthusiastic about the partnership: “This is a fantastic opportunity to bring Derby County supporters and the local community together with gaming fans, as well as introduce the G2A ecosystem and all it has to offer to Derby County. We have big plans for the coming year which we can’t wait to roll out and share with the club’s fanbase.”
