Three Derby County players have been named in the provisional Republic of Ireland squad for their two international games later this month.
Defensive trio Richard Keogh, Alex Pearce and Cyrus Christie have all been named in Martin O’Neill’s initial party for their matches against Wales and Iceland at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.The game against Wales, on Friday 24th March, is a 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifier while the meeting with Iceland on Tuesday 28th March is an international friendly.
Derby skipper Keogh has 15 full international caps to his name while Pearce and Christie have six each.
All three players, when fit and available for selection, have been regular faces in the Rams’ backline this season.
