Midfielder Jeff Hendrick has returned to Derby County from the Republic of Ireland international squad as a precaution for treatment on a shoulder injury.
The 24-year-old Academy graduate linked up with Martin O’Neill’s squad over the weekend for their upcoming international friendlies at home to Switzerland on Friday (25th March) and Slovakia next Tuesday (29th March).
Hendrick returned to the Training Centre on Wednesday morning and will be monitored by the club’s medical team although he is expected to be available for Derby’s next Sky Bet Championship fixture, which is away to Cardiff City on Saturday 2nd April.
