Derby County midfielder George Thorne has been named in the Sky Bet Football League’s ‘Team of the Week’.

The midfielder produced an impressive display as Derby ran out 2-1 winners at the John Smith's Stadium.

He went on to cap off his fine display with a superb 25-yard strike to open his account for the campaign and help the Rams up to fifth in the Sky Bet Championship.
