Derby County striker Chris Martin has been named in the Sky Bet Football League’s ‘Team of the Week’.

The striker scored twice in Sunday's 4-2 home win over Wolverhampton Wanderers at the iPro Stadium.

He opened the scoring after three minutes with an excellent strike from distance and also got on the scoresheet with a header just before the half-hour mark to score his sixth and seventh goals of the season.

His all round game was also vital in Derby's victory, playing a key role in the move that lead to the Rams' fourth goal, which was scored by Johnny Russell.

The only blemish on his copybook was missing a penalty in first-half added time, seeing his effort saved, but Bradley Johnson scored from the resultant corner.
