Will Hughes received the 2014/15 Jack Stamps Player of the Season trophy prior to Derby County’s home game with Reading this afternoon.
20-year-old Hughes was presented the accolade from Shaun Barker on the iPro Stadium pitch, after coming out on top in a fans’ poll conducted over the last two weeks.
The Academy graduate received a rapturous reception from the home crowd in the lead-up to kick-off, after winning the famous trophy for the first time.
Wideman Tom Ince, following an impressive loan spell from Hull City, also received the Sammy Crooks Trophy after being named as Derby’s Young Player of the Season.
