Academy sides continue to prepare for their respective 2014/15 seasons

Derby County’s Under-21 and Under 18 sides are approaching the latter stages of their pre-season schedules as the 2014/15 campaign edges ever closer.

After achieving Category One status last month, Derby’s Under-21s will compete in the Barclays U21 Premier League - Division 2 while the Under-18s will feature in the U18 Barclays Premier League North.

Academy Manager Darren Wassall will oversee the Under-18s for the sixth season in succession, while Senior Professional Development Phase Coach Lee Glover will take charge of the Under-21s for the second season in a row.

Both Wassall and Glover will provide regular updates from their respective sides during the 2014/15 season for www.dcfc.co.uk and also The Ram, Derby’s official matchday programme.
