Derby County progressed into Round Four of the FA Cup after a comfortable 3-0 win over fellow Sky Bet League One side, Barnsley.
James Collins, Tom Barkhuizen and Jason Knight all found the net as the Rams cruised past their divisional rivals and ensured it would be their name in the hat on Sunday afternoon.
The visitors started the brighter and had a glorious chance to take the lead in the opening five minutes.
Tom Edwards' clever run saw him get away from his man from a corner and his header was saved brilliantly by Joe Wildsmith down to his left.
James Norwood had a tame header saved soon after before Herbie Kane bent an effort inches wide from the edge of the box.
It took the Rams nearly 25 minutes to muster their first shot of the game but it was one that very nearly found the net. Barkhuizen's mazy run down the left saw him get a yard on his man and he whipped a delicious cross into the box that Lewis Dobbin met and his header beat the keeper but not the crossbar.
After a tough start, Derby did finish the half much the better team and were handed a golden opportunity to take the lead right on the stroke of half-time when they were awarded a penalty for handball.
Collins stepped up and made no mistake, sending the keeper the wrong way and putting the Rams a goal up at the half.
The second-half began as the first ended with the Rams well on top and Barkhuizen was continuing to be a nuisance down the left creating numerous chances for the home side.
He got his well deserved goal right on the hour mark too when he was able to pounce on a loose ball, spin and fire a rocket into the top corner of Jack Walton's goal.
Barnsley looked for an instant response through Norwood but the striker fired an effort straight into the gloves of Wildsmith when well positioned.
The Rams cemented their place in Round Four with 10 minutes to play when Knight made it 3-0.
A loose ball from a Barnsley defender allowed substitute Nathaniel Mendez-Laing to burst through on goal. His initial effort was saved by Walton but the winger kept his composure and found Knight with the rebound who slotted home for his first goal under Warne.
Derby continued to push as the game entered the closing stages but three is how it stayed as the Rams eased into Round Four.
Derby County are ball number eight in Sunday afternoon's draw.
