We look at what events are coming up during the month of March for the Men’s first team, the Under-21s and Under-18s at Academy level, the Women’s first team, club events, community campaigns, and birthdays across Derby County.


March brings 17 Rams games across the Men’s first team, Under-21s, Under-18s and Women’s first team.


Saturday 1st March – Under-18s Vs Blackburn Rovers (H) 12.30pm

Danny Maye’s Under-18s side play their first fixture of the month against Blackburn Rovers in the U18 Premier League.

Saturday 1st March – Men’s First-Team Vs Middlesbrough (A) 3pm

John Eustace’s Rams kick-off the month at the Riverside Stadium with a tie against Boro in the Sky Bet Championship.


Sunday 2nd March – Women’s First Team Vs Halifax (H) 2pm

The Ewes play their only home fixture of the month at the Don Amott Arena when they take on Halifax in the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division.


Tuesday 4th March – Buxton celebrates birthday!

Former Derby County centre-back and current Under-21s Lead Coach Jake Buxton will celebrate his 40th birthday!


Tuesday 4th March – Under-21s Vs Buxton (A) 7.45pm

The Under-21s are in knockout action as they face Buxton in the Semi-Final of the Derbyshire Senior Cup.

Wednesday 5th March – Under-18s Vs West Ham United (H) 12pm

There will be more Semi-Final action, this time for Danny Maye’s Under-18s who will face West Ham in the U18 Premier League Cup at Moor Farm Training Centre.


Saturday 8th March – First-Team Vs Blackburn Rovers (H) 3pm

John Eustace’s Rams will be in Sky Bet Championship action as they host Blackburn Rovers at Pride Park Stadium.


Sunday 9th March – Women’s First Team Vs Liverpool Feds (A) 2pm

The Ewes will head back out on the road to play Liverpool Feds in the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division at Jericho Lane.


Tuesday 11th March – Wilson celebrates birthday!

Versatile right-sider Kane Wilson will celebrate his 25th birthday.

Tuesday 11th March – Under-21s Vs Bolton Wanderers (A) 1pm

Jake Buxton’s Under-21s will head to the BW Davies Training Ground for Central League action against Bolton.

Tuesday 11th March – First-Team Vs Coventry City (H) 7.45pm

Derby will play under the lights at Pride Park Stadium for Sky Bet Championship action against Coventry City.

Friday 14th March – Under-21s Vs Stoke City (A) 7pm

The Under-21s will head to the bet365 Stadium for their Premier League 2 tie with Stoke City.

Saturday 15th March – Derby hosts Subway Women’s League Cup Final

Danny Maye’s side will take on Sunderland at the Academy of Light in the U18 Premier League.

Saturday 15th March – Men’s First Team Vs Plymouth Argyle (A) 3pm

The Rams will make the trip down south to face Plymouth Argyle at Home Park in the Sky Bet Championship.


Sunday 16th March – Women’s First Team Vs Nottingham Forest (A) 2pm

Sam Griffiths’ side will head down the A52 for league action as they clash with Nottingham Forest in the East Midlands Derby.

Monday 17th March – Ward celebrates birthday!

Derby County Women Club Captain and Derby County Club Ambassador Hannah Ward will celebrate her 32nd birthday.

Tuesday 18th March – Steggles celebrates birthday!

The Ewes’ defender Charlotte Steggles will celebrate her 27th birthday.

Thursday 20th March – Under-21s Vs Chesterfield (H) 1pm

The young Rams side will go head-to-head with Chesterfield in the Central League competition at Moor Farm Training Centre.


Friday 21st March – Phillips celebrates birthday!

Liverpool loanee and Rams defender Nat Phillips will celebrate his 28th birthday.

Tuesday 25th March – Under-21s Vs Huddersfield Town (H) 1pm

There’s more Central League Action for the Under-21s as they host Huddersfield Town at Moor Farm Training Centre.

Saturday 29th March – Under-18s Vs Leeds United (H) 12pm

The Under-18s will play their final game of the month in the U18 Premier League when they clash with Leeds at Moor Farm.

Sunday 30th March – Women’s First Team Vs West Bromwich Albion (A) 3pm

The Ewes will close out March with their rescheduled away trip against West Brom at the Valley Stadium in the Northern Premier Division.
