Derby County are in Emirates FA Cup action when they travel to the
Gaughan Group Stadium to face Sky Bet League One side Leyton Orient in the Third Round of the knockout
competition on Saturday (6pm kick-off).
The Rams enter the cup tie looking to return to winning ways when they play their maiden fixture in the FA Cup this season, after falling to a 1-0 defeat against Bristol City in the Championship a week ago.
Richie Wellens’ Leyton Orient secured qualification to the Third Round after goalkeeper Josh Keeley scored a late leveller to force extra time in their 2-1 home win against National League side Oldham Athletic at the end of November. The O’s sit eighth in League One after 24 games, with 11 wins and four draws to their name.
Team News
Midfielder Ebou Adams was sidelined for the 1-0 loss at Bristol City and is to remain out of contention this weekend after he picked up concussion against Sheffield Wednesday on New Year’s Day.
Centre-back Eiran Cashin is not yet ready for a return to action against Leyton Orient as he continues his development from a hamstring injury sustained in December but he is set to resume training next week.
Midfielder David Ozoh (quad) and defender Ryan Nyambe (knee) are both continuing their progression after lengthy spells out of action but are not far off a return to training.
Right-sider Joe Ward (knee) and winger Corey Blackett-Taylor (groin) have missed the Rams' last two matches and are having their fitness monitored.
