Ebou Adams praised the ‘togetherness’ of the Derby County squad as they took a well-earned point away from Lancashire with a goalless draw against Burnley on Tuesday night.

Adams came back into the side after serving a one-game suspension against Leeds United at the weekend for accumulating his fifth yellow card of the season - and played a key role in the 0-0 draw.

Adams caught up with RamsTV after the game at Turf Moor.

On a hard-earned point against Burnley…

I thought we did really well; we worked hard and worked opportunities where we could have maybe nicked it. I'm just happy that the boys worked hard to redeem ourselves from the weekend.

The togetherness of the group is unbelievably good - everyone worked hard, and everyone did what they needed to. We showed a bit of quality at times to nick it or to get a little chance to try and score.

On performing a defensive shut-out on the road…

To keep the clean sheet is a real credit to the whole team, including the guys that have come on. It’s nice to see that the boys have that pride in what they want to do. We dug in and did what we needed to do and had moments going the other way as well.

On the team coming close in front of goal…

If we had that bit of luck, the game could have gone another way. Jerry's one was a very good chance; I thought that was probably the best chance of the game. If we take it, then you never know. It was a good bit of play from Kenzo Goudmijn too; a great touch and a great pass from him put Jerry through.
