Paul Warne has confirmed Derby County’s starting line-up for tonight’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Swansea City at Pride Park Stadium (8pm kick-off).

The game is the first of back-to-back league matches on home turf for the Rams this week, with Sheffield Wednesday facing Derby on Sunday (3pm kick-off).

Warne’s charges come into their second game after the November international break aiming to build on the point earned away from home in a 1-1 draw against Preston North End on Saturday.

Warne has made six changes from the side that began at Deepdale.

Striker Jerry Yates has netted three goals in the last three games, but the Swansea loanee is not eligible for selection against his parent club.

Nathaniel Mendez-Laing returns to the starting line-up and will don the captain’s armband to make his 17th appearance of the league campaign after entering the field as a second half substitute at the weekend.

Kenzo Goudmijn and Marcus Harness also return to the fray, while right-sider Kane Wilson also entered the field off the bench during the Rams’ draw in Lancashire and will make a start in Derby.

On the opposite flank, Callum Elder will re-enter the side for the first time since Derby’s 2-1 away win over Coventry, as he was sidelined with a minor concern after the win on the road.

Winger Corey Blackett-Taylor netted his first goal for the club against Norwich City at Pride Park in September and enters the starting picture against the Swans.
