Derby County will kick off a busy fixture period when they make the trip to London for their Sky Bet Championship fixture against Millwall on Saturday (3pm kick-off).


The trip will be followed by a midweek match on the road against Oxford United on Tuesday 22nd October (7:45pm kick-off), before the Rams return to Pride Park Stadium for the visit of Hull City four days later on Saturday 26th October (3pm kick-off).

Both away games will see Paul Warne’s side backed by sell-out away crowds, as the Rams hunt for their first points on the road this term. They come into the game sitting 12th in the division and buoyed by a 2-0 home win over Queens Park Rangers at Pride Park Stadium before the recent international break.

Neil Harris' Millwall are 18th in the Championship after nine games - with two wins, three draws and four losses to their name. The Lions played out a goalless draw with fourth-placed West Bromwich Albion in their last outing.

Paul Warne will have the majority of his squad available for the clash with Millwall.


Left-back Callum Elder and midfielder Ben Osborn re-joined training over the international break after returning from injury, as did defender Sonny Bradley after a slight knee issue which forced him to sit out the home win over Queens Park Rangers two weeks ago.


Liam Thompson, Jake Rooney and Tom Barkhuizen all picked up match minutes for the Under-21s in the National League Cup on Tuesday night as they looked to build up their match sharpness after spells out injured.

On-loan Crystal Palace midfielder David Ozoh has stepped up his workload this week following the a hamstring injury he sustained against Cardiff City last month and is having his situation monitored, while fellow loanee, Wolves forward Tawanda Chirewa, remains sidelined with a muscle injury.

Derby's allocation of tickets for Saturday's match at The Den have sold out.

Derby were handed an allocation of 2,952 tickets for the match and these completely sold out earlier this month.

Those fans without a ticket are advised not to make the trip to The Den, as they will be unable to gain access to the stadium.

Match Officials

Stuart Atwell will be the man in the middle for the Sky Bet Championship fixture.

It will be his first Championship fixture of the 2024/25 season. He has officiated four Premier League games, handing out 18 yellow cards. Atwell has refereed the Rams seven times in league competition, last taking charge as Derby won 1-0 away from home against Norwich City in October 2020.

He will be joined by Assistant Referees Marc Perry and Mark Scholes at The Den, with Carl Brook taking on the fourth official role.
