Derby County Under-21s' attacking wing-back Riley Moloney has joined non-league Barwell on a month-long loan deal.

The Rams' young defender will join up with the Southern Division - Premier Central side for a 28-day loan. The Canaries will play out five fixtures over the loan period - with clashes against Bedford Town, Stratford Town, Sporting Khalsa, Kettering Town and Alvechurch.

The youth development loan aims to give the 19-year-old his first taste of senior football.

In 2023/24, Moloney stepped up in age group and featured 16 times for the Under-21s in Premier League 2, scoring once and providing one assist.

He has made six appearances in Premier League 2 for Jake Buxton’s Under-21s side in the 2024/25 season and has a goal to his name, as he netted against Liverpool in September.
