Derby County hosted an Open Training Session at Pride Park Stadium on Thursday morning.
Almost 2,500 fans headed down to the Rams’ home ground to watch Head Coach Paul Warne and his coaching staff put the squad through their paces.
With no weekend fixture on the horizon, Warne’s players conducted a light session following the 2-2 draw at Sky Bet League One leaders Portsmouth on Tuesday evening at Fratton Park as they began preparations for next Wednesday’s visit to Wycombe Wanderers (7:45pm kick-off).
Live interviews were conducted on the pitch over the Rams’ PA system during the training session.
There were prizes given out throughout the session too with club mascot Rammie playing a key role in proceedings.
Once training was over, the players joined the supporters in the East Stand and offered the chance for them to get some autographs and photographs.
The Open Training Session was free to attend and, with the Easter half-term school holidays in full swing, a large number of children turned out with their parents for a fun-filled morning.
