Derby County travel to Wycombe Wanderers on Wednesday evening for their penultimate away fixture of the regular 2023/24 Sky Bet League One campaign (7:45pm kick-off).
The reverse fixture at Pride Park Stadium back in December ended in a 1-1 draw after a Luke Leahy penalty in the eighth minute of added time cancelled out a Tom Barkhuizen strike for the Rams.
In the lead-up to the game getting underway, dcfc.co.uk has brought together all the key information you need to know...
Team News
Defender Callum Elder remains out with a groin issue for Wednesday evening's match.
Defender Craig Forsyth is also out of action with a calf injury, while forward Tom Barkhuizen remains out with a similar problem.
Central defender Sonny Bradley will serve the final game of his three-match ban following his red card at Northampton Town last month.
Striker Dwight Gayle hobbled off in the victory against Bolton Wanderers last month with a hamstring issue and Wednesday evening will come too soon for his return.
Midfielder Max Bird remains out after injuring his calf in training last month but is close to returning to training.
Defender Ryan Nyambe has had an operation on his damaged quad, sustained in February, which will keep him out of action for the remainder of the campaign.
Striker Tyreece John-Jules suffered a hamstring tear in the defeat against Reading in January that will keep him out of action for the rest of the season.
Long-term absentee Jake Rooney remains out after suffering a ACL knee injury in September and remains a way off a return to full training, although he is making excellent progress.
Pre-Match Thoughts
Assistant Head Coach Richie Barker spoke to RamsTV to preview the return to League One action on Wednesday evening.
He said: "The standards the players have set themselves over the last 10 months means it's all about ensuring we don't drop those standards. That's where the pressure is, on maintaining those."
Winger Corey Blackett-Taylor spoke to RamsTV ahead of the midweek clash against the Chairboys.
He said: "I can only really speak for myself, but I don't really feel the pressure. I feel more up for it and I can't wait to play and attack the matches. Everyone is relaxed and calm and looking at each match as just another game. Everyone knows how good we are and what we've got and we feel like, if we have the right mindset, we can get the job done."
Ticket Information
Derby's allocation of tickets for Wednesday evening's match were snapped up last month.
The Rams were handed an allocation of 1,848 tickets for the match and these have completely sold out.
Those fans without a ticket are advised not to make the trip to Wycombe, as they will be unable to gain access to the stadium.
Match Officials
Matthew Donohue will take charge of Wednesday evening's game and he will be assisted by Declan O'Shea and Alistair Nelson.
Andy Bennett has been appointed as Fourth Official for the contest.
Donohue has taken charge of 30 games so far this season, 27 of which have been Championship fixtures.
He's distributed 132 yellow cards but is yet to award a single straight red. Donohue has also awarded six penalties.
