Derby County defender Kane Wilson believes the side gained 'a good point on the road' as they drew 0-0 at Lincoln City in Sky Bet League One on Saturday.
Both sides had chances to claim all three points on the day with the better of those falling to the hosts and, with that considered, Wilson believes a point and clean sheet was a positive.
Speaking to RamsTV after the final whistle, he gave his verdict on the performance and had some high praise for the travelling fans.
On the result...
It's a good point, considering the game. If I'm being honest, Lincoln probably had the better chances. It was a cold, windy afternoon and it's a hard ground to come to. It's a hostile atmosphere sometimes. If we back it up on Tuesday at Reading, then it could be a good point today.
On whether it was a fair result...
We came here to win, but football changes quickly. They had a good chance and all of a sudden their fans had something to get behind. After 90 minutes, I think it turned into a good point.
On the defensive performance...
I was part of the back four today and I love the idea of trying to keep a clean sheet. It's almost like a goal collectively. Josh made some good saves in goal and Cash cleared one off the line. We're proud that we got the clean sheet.
On not scoring for the first time since October in the league...
That's a good statistic! Obviously something was different today, but that's a credit to Lincoln. I thought they were good. We'd played them twice already this season and that is definitely the best outing they've had. They've recruited well in this transfer window and it's a credit to them.
On the run stretching to one defeat in 13 in the league...
Some results went for us today and some went against us, but if you'd had offered us one loss in 13 games when this run started then I think everyone would have taken it. I know it's cliché, but we've earned that. As long as we keep that up, then we should be up in the mix come the end of the season.
On Tuesday night's trip to Reading...
If we win at Reading, then it's four point in two away games. That's what we are aiming for. Out of all the fixtures today, I think we had the hardest. It's a good point so if we can back that up on Tuesday, I can't stress that enough, then it becomes even better.
On the travelling fans...
I've never been at a club where it's sell out after sell out. It's so enjoyable to play in front of. They are the best I've ever been in front of, so long may it continue. They push us on and they all clapped us off at the end and we thank them for that.
