The next phase of Derby County’s identity project has seen the exterior of the Toyota West Stand undergo a refresh this week.
The club’s new identity values, along with a new colour palette to recognise the many facets of our ‘black and white’ club and one of the founding members of the English Football League, were revealed last July to mark the one-year anniversary of Clowes Developments (UK) Ltd’s ownership.
Ahead of the start of the 2023/24 season, Pride Park Stadium and Moor Farm Training Ground saw the introduction of the values across various several areas.
Notably, this included the players’ tunnel area at Pride Park and now features supporter-selected ‘Moments That Mattered’ from the club’s long and distinguished history.
Other areas include Pride Park’s main reception, media lounge and main offices, alongside Moor Farm’s corridors, offices, academy and meeting rooms.
The next step of the project has now provided a fresh look for supporters to take in at the front of the Rams’ home stadium.
The previous design work on the West Stand was removed on Thursday, before being replaced with new artwork on Friday which falls in line with the club’s identity and values.
The West Stand will continue to feature branding of long-standing club partner Toyota, who continue to sponsor the stand.
Key individuals who were pictured on the prior front of stadium design have important representation already in place at Pride Park Stadium, and another stage of the club’s identity project is planned for the close season which will include honouring and acknowledging further club greats who have played a significant role in the club’s history on and off the pitch.
Supporters will be able to learn more details of the plans in the coming months once final decisions have been made.
