Derby County Women striker Yasmin Mosby has left the club to join Rugby Borough.

Mosby joined the Ewes in the lead-up to the start of the 2023/24 season after making the move from East Midlands neighbours Nottingham Forest, where she impressed in their FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division league and cup double in 2022/23.

She also represented Doncaster Belles, where she played in the Women’s Super League, and Concord University in America before joining Forest, as well as starting her football journey in the Sheffield United Girls Centre of Excellence.

Mosby made her Derby debut in the side’s 2023/24 season opener on home turf against Wolverhampton Wanderers back in August and went on to make 14 appearances in total.

She scored seven times, with four coming in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup and two in the National League Plate. Her single league goal came in the Ewes’ excellent 2-1 win at her former club Forest in October.

Everyone at Derby County would like to thank Yas for her efforts in a Ewes shirt and wish her all the best for the future.
